This is a vintage uchishiki, fabric for Buddhist altar.
Textile is silk and has konoko dot check pattern is dyed.
It has wonderful embroidery work is added!
It is lined with cotton. It is machine sewn.
It has rather many flaws as photos show. Embroidery is frayed and lost in some parts (C) , and there are repaired holes (B) , and burned spots (A) and candle stains and so on.
However, it must be wonderful interior decor!
