This is a kyo-fukuro(shorter than usual fukuro obi) obi with sophisticated trees and flowers pattern, which is woven in the black background.
Textile is silk, and it's soft.
'Gunpai(referee's fan) mark can be seen in the tare end. So it is woven by Kawashima Weaving co.
Stiff lining is not added inside.

It has some flaws as photos and figure show.
There are some prominent frays, and weft yarns for pattern are missing in some parts.
It can not be tied, but must be wonderful handicraft material or interior decor!
