This is a vintage black nagoya obi with colorful book and box with flowers motifs, which are elaborately embroidered.
Maegara(front patterned part) embroidery is added in a side.
Its embroidery work is fabulous!
Textile is black shusu, and it has soft and smooth touch.
It has prominent frays in the hems. (A) spot is the warp yarns are missing by fray. There is a similar spot in the lower hem near the maegara(front patterned part) part. (B) is the large frays. The wrong side of tare part also has fray lines (X).
As a whole it is in very good condition.

Belt part 5.9 in ( 15 cm) x 89.0 in ( 226 cm)
