This is a vintage nagoya obi with eye-catching flower motif, which is embroidered heavily. The maegara( the patterned part of belt part, which will be the belly part when it is tied ) is only on one side.
Textile is jinken(rayon), and has beautiful check pattern. Its pattern is woven and it is slightly transparent.

The otaiko part has couple of big snags (the second flaw photo), and a stain near the embroidery ( the last photo).
It has some other flaws from its old age however it will make a wonderful match with vintage kimono!
