This is a vintage black nagoya obi with stunning chicken and drum motifs, which are elaborately embroidered.
Maegara(front patterned part) embroidery is added in a side.
Its embroidery work is fabulous!
Textile is black shusu, and it seems to be silk and jinken(rayon) blend.
It has a tear and some frays in the hems. It has some other flaws as photos show, but textile seems not to become weak. As a whole it is in very good condition.

Belt part 5.9 in ( 15 cm) x 90.6 in ( 230 cm)
