This is a charming
nagoya obi with heian lady in layers of kimonos pattern which is woven gracefully.
It has the poem by Murasaki-Shikibu (she was a Japanese novelist, poet and lady-in-waiting at the Imperial court during the Heian period) with
junihitoe (it means 'twelve-layer-robe' that was only worn by court-ladies in Japan).
Textile is silk, and it has soft and smooth touch.
It has some flaws in tare part; line as shown on photo (A), slightly discoloration shown on (B).
Also, there are some stains, frays, and holes, but there is not very serious damage for wearing. Please refer to the photos and sheets for the details.
*Tare part 11.2 in ( 28.5 cm) x 41.3 in ( 105 cm)
Belt part 5.7 in ( 14.5 cm) x 92.9 in ( 236 cm)
