This is a luxurious silver fukuro obi with wonderful butterfly pattern, which is woven. Shiny kinsai(gold foil) technique is added at places.
This piece is made by Shouhei Hori, who is known and described as 'Magician of Kinsai'.
Textile is silk, and it's soft.
As the photos and the sheet show, there is a slight folding line and some other slight flaws.
However, the flaws are not disturbing and as a whole, it's in very good condition and can be worn formally.
