This is a maru obi with dynamic ocean wave pattern, which is woven.
Textile is jinken(rayon) , and it has comparatively stiff and slightly textured touch.
It has prominent folding lines and other flaws as shown on photos, but for being a vintage item, it is in very good condition overall and can be tied still.
