This is a tsuzure fukuro obi with fantastic phoenix and 'kiri'(paulownia) pattern, which is woven with tsume tsuzure technique.
One threads by one threads, it was woven elaborately with nails, and it had to be taken incredibly long time to be completed. It has special kind of comfortable and medium touch of tsume tsuzure silk.

Unfortunately, there is a prominent folding line, and there are some stains, smudges and discoloration. Especially they are prominent in the maegara(front patterned part) part, and it can be tied.
However, it still could be a wonderful display in your home for its amazing design.
