This graceful fukuro obi with flowers and mandarin duck are woven amazingly in the vibrant orange background with tsume tsuzure technique.
One threads by one threads, it was woven elaborately with nails, and it had to be taken incredibly long time to be completed.
It has special kind of comfortable and medium touch of tsume tsuzure silk.
It has a patina in the tare part, especially the face of the mandarin duck as the photo shown.
The photo (A) shows the small scoop because of the fabric's dent. There are slightly folding lines and smudges, but it is in very good condition as a whole. It's also suitable for formal occasions.
