This is an antique furoshiki with large 'kiri'(paulownia) kamon design, which is dyed boldly with tsutsugaki technique.
Textile is rather thick cotton, and has soft and comfortable touch. It must be hand spun and woven cotton in early Meiji period(1868-1912) .
It also has fabulous natural ai color!

Unfortunately it has quite many flaws as photos show.
However, it is still very charming piece!
