This is an antique furoshiki with wonderful sashiko stitches in the corners. Chrysanthemum and kamon mark are embroidered elaborately.
Textile seems to be hand spun and hand woven in early Meiji period(1868-1912).
It is rather thick and has soft and comfortable touch.
In addition, it has well worn deep natural
ai color.
It has prominent discoloration and other flaws as photos show.
However, as a whole it is in still very charming piece!
