This is an antique furoshiki with wonderful sashiko stitches in the corners. Chrysanthemum pattern is embroidered elaborately.
Textile seems to be hand spun and hand woven one. It is medium thick and has soft and comfortable touch. In addition, its deep natural ai color is exceptionally beautiful!
This piece has many repaired parts, holes and other flaws as photos show.
However, it is still very charming piece!
