This is a gorgeous antique uchikake from Meiji Period(1868-1912) .
Auspicious motifs like tortoise, crane and 'shou-chiku-bai'( pine tree, bamboo and ume blossom) motifs are embroidered elaborately all over.
Textile is black shusu silk and has soft and smooth touch.

The bottom red part have many tears and holes.
We don't check in the figure, but kinkoma embroidery seam is coming off in several parts near the bottom of back.
However, the black part is rather beautiful.
It must be an excellent interior decor!
