This is a kimono fabric cut into houmongi shape and stitched roughly before sewing to make houmongi .
Kimono is made of a bolt of cloth which is 14.2" in width.
This houmongi has unique 'tsubodare'(jag drip) pattern which is dyed.
Textile is silk with damask effect(rinzu), and has soft and smooth touch.
It is little bit old one, but there seems not to be prominent flaws.
*You need a lining fabric to sew houmongi from this fabric. And sewing houmongi is very difficult, and it is a work for professionals.
