This is a graceful
fukuro obi with ivory medallions of
phoenix and flowers woven over the golden arches.
The golden arches are patterned with several traditional patterns such as 'shokkou-mon' (octagon and rectangle pattern), 'kikko' (tortoise shell) and 'hishi' (lozeng).
Textile is silk and has soft touch.
Discoloration can be seen over the tare end and the otaiko (square bow) area.
It seems more suitable for display or handicraft.
