This is an attractive vintage maru obi.
Alluring kiku (chrysanthemums) are woven with gold or silver metallic coated threads over the red and white checkerboard background.
Its design is exceptionally impressive!
Textile is silk and has soft touch.

The black stain at the tare end is somewhat outstanding.
