This is a vintage summer maru obi.
Beautifully flowers and stream patterns are dyed with fan shape pattern in the both sides.
Textile is ro, summer sheer silk, and it's soft.
Couple of parts are added embroidery.
As the photos and the sheet show, it has patinas at places. It also has smudges and frays.
We don't check in the figure, but a seam of side part in the middle part is unpicked approx 10cm- 3.9in long.

As a whole it is in very good condition.
It may not be able to tie without showing the patinas, but still we think it must be wonderful on antique kimonos!
