This is a silk karinui fabric for michiyuki. ( Roughly sewn as michiyuki shape).
It has an elegant pattern of 'yukiwa' (snow crystal), kiku (chrysanthemum) and hagi (bush clover) dyed with itome yuzen technique.
Textile is exquisite silk, and has very soft and smooth touch.
It has some flaws as photos and figure show.
However, it must be an excellent handicraft material!
*You need a lining fabric to sew michiyuki from this fabric. And sewing michiyuki is very difficult, and it is a work for professionals.
