This is a silk karinui fabric for michiyuki. ( Roughly sewn as michiyuki shape).
Lovely tsujigahana-style blossoms are dyed with shibori(tie-dye) technique.
Textile is exquisite silk, and has soft and somewhat rough touch.
It has some flaws as photos and figure show.
However, it must be an excellent handicraft material!
*You need a lining fabric to sew michiyuki from this fabric. And sewing michiyuki is very difficult, and it is a work for professionals.
