This is a kyo-fukuro(shorter than usual fukuro obi) in subdued brick red.
It has no pattern, but the woven-in wefts have some colors so that its impression has still some elegant complexity.
Judging from the words woven inside the tare end, it seems all the threads are dyed with natural dyestuff.
Textile is silk and has soft touch.

Discoloration in the figure is rather outstanding. However, the both sides and both ends have the same design, and we wish you can tie with your ways.
