This is a silk bolt for nagoya obi.
Textile is thick silk and luxurious 'katawaguruma'( wheels of royal cart, which are stored in the stream to avoid drying ) pattern is woven in 89.0 in ( 226 cm) and 7.9 in ( 20 cm) parts, and the rest part is solid bluish gray.
It is for mourning dress.
Textile has medium touch.

It has some flaws as photos show. However, it must be an excellent handicraft material!
