This is a gorgeous fukuro obi woven with wefts coated with pure gold foils.
Its elegant woven pattern is kiku (chrysanthemums) and kiri(paulownia) in cloud shapes.
The golden base has also white 'tsujigahana' style floral pattern.
Textile is silk, and it's soft.

Before deciding whether it's suitable for formal dressing or not, please take a look at the figure and the photos for there're some snags in the otaiko (square bow) area.The folding line is rather prominent.
The other flaws indicated are not disturbing for wearing.

As a whole, it's in very good condition.
