This is a beautiful vintage maru obi.
Its woven pattern is a basket brimmed with alluring flowers such as roses and peonies.
Background is pale gold, and has exceptionally gorgeous atmosphere.
This piece has wonderful Western taste!
Textile is silk, and it's soft.

As shown in photo A, snags can be seen along the kaikiri line.
There is a rather big stain (photo B), and discoloration from age can be seen as well.

However, the flaws are not so disturbing, and as a whole it is in very good condition and very beautiful piece!
