This is an antique katazome cotton fabric.
It has exotic peony arabesque pattern, which is dyed with katazome technique.
Textile is medium thick and has soft touch. Weft seems to be hand spun cotton, and warp seems to be imported(or machine spun) yarn.
It is considered to be from mid Meiji Period(1868-1912) .
It has some flaws as photos and figure show, but as a whole it is in very good condition.
