This antique nagoya obi has beautiful tropical fish pattern, which is embroidered with colorful threads elaborately. Please enjoy its wonderful embroidery details with more photos.
Textile is ro, and weft is jinken(rayon) and warp is silk.
It has prominent stains in the tesaki part(A).
Otaiko and maegara(front patterned part) parts are slightly discolored or stains all over. There are reddish dyestuff stains in the otaiko embroidery, and silver waterweed parts are detached and lost in some parts by fray.
It has some other flaws as photos and figure show. Please check detail photos.
