This is a fabulous pink ko-furisode(little bit shorter sleeve furisode) from around Taisho Period(1912-1926) .
What a wonderful design it is!
If you have already seen lots of antique kimonos, you must tell its value with only photos.
House, stream, fishing net, 'hagi'(bush clover) and flowers are dyed colorfully with itome-yuzen technique elaborately. Its shading part is exceptionally beautiful.
In addition, fine embroidery is added all over it! Not only in the left front and shoulder, but also to the tip of sleeves, delicate embroidery is added.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft and comfortable touch. Silver threads are blended.
Because of its old age, it has some flaws as photos show. There is a stain in the back bottom (G). However, other flaws are slight or small and there is not serious damage. It can be worn at formal occasions.
Museum class piece!
