This is a vintage haori with a sharp zigzagging pattern made up of pretty sakura (cherry) and ume (plum) blossoms dyed in turquoise blue against magenta pink background.
Textile is silk, and it's soft. Uneven thick yarns are used in weft threads.
Sleeves are gracefully long, which is the feature of kimono from pre WWII.
It has some flaws as photos and figure show.
The smudge and the stains are not disturbing in the deep base color.
However, the discoloration over the blue pattern is rather noticeable, especially around the shoulders and over the sleeves.
