This is a rustic vintage
nagoya obi with a charming embroidered pattern of goats, camel and palm tree.
Textile is very soft and a little nubby
tsumugi silk.
Its broader tare part is rather long, though it's still shorter than
nagoya obi tailored into 'matsuba-shitate'.
Its kaikiri lines are on the reverse side of the tare part.
There is a brownish stain about the center of the otaiko (square bow) pattern.
As shown in the second photo from the figure, faint orangish stains can be seen under the otaiko pattern.
There are similar stains around the maegara (front pattern) pattern as well.
Discoloration can be seen in places including about the maegara (front pattern) pattern and over the tare end.
As for other damages, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
Still it's in very good condition overall and will go well with a vintage kimono.
