This is an elegant open nagoya obi. This traditional pattern is based on one of the national treasure belongs to
Houcyu-ji temple A warrior with sharp eyes on a Pegasus is about to shoot an arrow to a lion.
This excellent piece is woven by Tatsumura, one of the most famous obi weaver in Kyoto Nishijin.
Textile is silk and has soft touch.
It has slight patinas and folding line however they are not so disturbing. There is a quite prominent stain on maegara( the patterned part of belt part, which will be the belly part when it is tied ) Please check details with photos and the figure.
As a whole, it is in very good condition.
