This is a fantastic honbukuro obi with elegant flower arabesque pattern, which is woven with
tsume tsuzure technique. One threads by one threads, it was woven elaborately with nails, and it had to be taken incredibly long time to be completed. It has special kind of comfortable and medium touch of
tsume tsuzure silk.
It has some flaws as photos show. The discoloration below the otaiko part is prominent.
It can not be tied on contemporary kimono, but we think it may be able to tie on antique kimonos.
