This is a kimono silk fabric cut into tsumugi kimono shape and stitched roughly before sewing to make tsumugi. Kimono is made of a bolt of cloth which is 14.2" in width.
It has beautiful 'kikko'(tortoise shell) and stripe pattern, which is woven.
Textile is tsumugi silk , and has soft and smooth touch.

It has some flaws as photos show.
However, it still could be a wonderful material for your handicraft.
