This is a vintage chuya obi with charming shell pattern which is dyed. Each shell has lovely flower patterns such as sakura, pine and tachibana (citrus). Attractive wavy lines are added with shibori(tie dyed) technique.
Textile is silk and has soft touch.
The other side in black shusu silk.

There are patinas all over from its old age. It has some other flaws such as slight folding line and stains. Please check details with photos and the figure.

It is a great piece to enjoy the romantic vintage atmosphere.
