This is a vintage maru obi with dramatic peacock and peony pattern, which is woven boldly in the beige background. In the background, gold threads are blended in, and this piece has exceptionally gorgeous atmosphere.
Textile is exquisite silk, and has very soft and comfortable touch.

It has some flaws as photos show.
There are prominent frays in the tesaki end(the last photo), and the frays are becoming tears.
There is a prominent folding line.
It has some other flaws as photos show, but as a whole it is in very good condition and beautiful piece!

It may be difficult to wear, so we recommend it as interior decor or handicraft material!
