This is a
fukuro obi in graceful restrained gold.
Its woven pattern is a scene from
Genji-Monogatari.
The lady sitting inside the house wearing
Jūnihitoe looks
Fujitsubo.
If so, the mas lost in though across the water must be
Hikaru Genji.
Textile is exquisite silk, and has very soft and comfortable touch.
It's unfinished with both the ends left open and no stiff lining inside.
As the photos and the sheet show, there is a folding line.
However, with no other noticeable damage, it's in very good condition.
For the details of flaws, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
*To complete as wearable obi, additional $50-$60 is needed.
*Approx background color - gold
