This is a high-end
nagoya obi with pretty camellia motif woven with
tsume tsuzure weaving technique.
One threads by one threads, it was woven elaborately with nails, and it had to be taken incredibly long time to be completed. It has special kind of comfortable and medium touch of
tsume tsuzure silk.
On the backside of the tare end, there is a sumo referee's fan motif which is a distinct feature of textile woven by Kawashima Weaving Co, one of the most famous obi weavers in Kyoto.
It's possibly unworn with no folding line.
However, as the photos and the sheet show, there are some faint and not-outstanding stains.
As a whole, it's in very good condition.
