This is a graceful
nagoya obi with woven borders of some traditional motifs such as 'karakusa' (arabesque) and 'ariso' (fish over waves).
The gold of the metallic coated threads adds to its elegance.
Textile is silk, and it's soft.
The stains shown in photo A will be hidden.
There are largely spread stains over the belt part, one at the start of the blank area and the other bigger one towards the end of the blank area.
Also, there is a faint and not-outstanding stain in the upper part of the otaiko (square bow) area and a drenched-like stain in the lower part of it.
However, as a whole, it's in very good condition.
It's an ideal piece for making a classy kimono style.
