This is a beautiful tsumugi nagoya obi.
Against its deep purple background, exotic Sarasa(chintz) style pattern is colorfully dyed.
The pattern is thinly traced with gold dyeing, which reminds of Gold Sarasa lighted up in an Indian museum.
Can't you feel everlasting time looking at this wonderful item!
Its textile is roughly woven with thick tsumugi yearns that have somewhat big nubs making this obi soft but rather crisp.

The snag indicated in the figure is really tiny and not at all outstanding.
It seems not to be used.
There's no other noticeable damage, and so it's almost in excellent condition.
