This is a fabulous uchikake from around Taisho period(1912-1926) - it seemed to be worn under another uchikake, and graceful 'shou-chiku-bai'( auspicious three motifs - pine tree, bamboo and ume blossom ) pattern is dyed with shibori technique all over!
Textile has deep wrinkles of shibori effect!
Kanoko dot is very small, and its texture is exceptionally beautiful!
Textile is silk with damask effect(rinzu), and has soft and smooth touch.
Bottom is padded.
It has some flaws as photos show. However, as a whole it is in very good condition.
