This is a vintage nagoya obi with an embroidered motif of encircled two face-to-face phoenixes.
With thin threads, the motif is so finely embroidered that it looks like a pasted applique.
Textile is black silk, and it's soft.

The white circle of the otaiko (square bow) has patinas.
The black base has whitish smudges in places.
