This is a chic Hon-Fukuro Obi with cards of
Hyakunin Isshu woven with tsuzure weaving technique.
Textile is tsuzure silk and it has a little stiff touch.
The tare end is opened.
The corners of the ends and the tips of the folds are frayed.ޡޡAnd there are some tears in the hems.
Also, patinas can be seen on the ivory places of the otaiko (square bow) pattern, though there's no close-up photo, sorry...
As for other damages, please refer to the photos and the sheet.
We can't say it is in very good condition, but still charming piece for its wonderful design. It must be an excellent handicraft material or interior decor! (It can not be tied )
