This is a graceful vintage
nagoya obi with chrysanthemum pattern which is woven. Its subdued color is elegant.
Textile is silk, and has a little firm touch. This weaving technique is called 'koukechi-ori'.
As photos show there are some flaws such as rather prominent stains and slight discoloration on otaiko. For other flaws and details please check photos and the figure.
One side of maegara( the patterned part of belt part, which will be the belly part when it is tied ) has a prominent stain on the pattern of white kiku however the other side can be used.
As a whole, it is in quite qood condition and because of this alluring atmosphere it is difficult for us to say if its wearable or not.
