This is a tasteful vintage sakiori obi with boarder pattern in such a wonderful color combination.
Sakiori is a traditional Japanese technique of rag weaving.
The rag strips are cut finely and woven into a tweed-like fabric.
Materials are mainly cotton, and wool, and silk seems also blended.

As the photos and the sheet show, it has a couple of holes and almost-hole spots whose colored wefts are cut and gone.
However, as a whole, it's in very good condition.
