This nagoya obi ha smotif of Gion Gestival which is woven with tsume tsuzure technique.
One threads by one threads, it was woven elaborately with nails, and it had to be taken incredibly long time to be completed. It has special kind of comfortable and stiff touch of tsume tsuzure silk.
Its settled color is elegant.

It seems to be tied frequently and has rather prominent folding line, several patinas and smudges. It is difficult to say if it is wearable or not. Please check details with photos and the figure.
