This is a charming
maru obi for brides from mid Showa period(1926-1989). It has bold 'matsukawa-shishi'(pine bark diamond) pattern which is woven with silver metallic coated threads.
Textile is silk and has slightly textured touch.
It is well worn and has folding lines, frays, and slight wrinkles as shown on photo A in places.
It has slight discoloration in places, but overall, in is in very good condition.
