This was a lining fabric of men's haori.
It has very unique Momotaro theme pattern, which is woven.
Momotaro himself is not woven, but the old woman is holding peach, and his fellows (monkey, dog and pheasant) are looking her.
What a unique design it is!

It has some flaws as photos show. However, it must be an excellent handicraft material!
*(X) part is frayed and weft yarns are missing.
