This is a vintage maru obi with an elegant pattern of autumn grass/flowers and 'shibagaki' (firewood hedge), gabion etc.
Textile is silk, and it has soft touch.

The loosened stitch indicated in red along the tare end are actually along the TESAKI end.
As you can see in the otaiko (square bow) photo, there is a thin while line through the middle of the otaiko (square bow) area which seem caused by a strained warp.
It has some other flaws as photos show.
However, as a whole it is in very good condition.
