This is a beautiful
tsume tsuzure nagoya obi with chic mist and 'shikishi'(square paper) pattern, which is woven with
tsume tsuzure technique.
One threads by one threads, it was woven elaborately with nails, and it had to be taken incredibly long time to be completed.
Textile has a special kind of comfortable and medium touch of
tsume tsuzure weaving.
As the photos and the sheet show, it has some flaws.
There is a prominent folding line and some smudges and stains. Otaiko part is beautiful, but in the maegara( the patterned part of belt part, which will be the belly part when it is tied ) part, slight stains or smudges will be seen when it is tied.
Please check detail photos.
