This is an alluring vintage maru obi with magnificent circle of phoenix which is embroidered elaborately with thin threads. Please enjoy details of the wonderful embroidery with more photos.
Textile is exquisite silk and has soft touch. It has woven pattern of 'yabure sayagata' and the delicate gloss is elegant.
Photos don't show but the white part of the motif has slight discoloration caused by fray. It has some flaws such as stains and smudges. It is slight however patinas are in places. However, there is not serious damage, and it can be worn.
