This is an appealing nagoya obi with red kanji character 'kotobuki'(longevity) pattern, which is dyed.
Look closer, and you can see that the red has several shades making it look impressive.
Textile is sioze silk, and it's soft and smooth.

The stains indicated in the figure are faint and not much bothering.
